John Pike is a Chartered Surveyor with over 30 years’ experience in commercial property, the last 20 of which have been spent in the corporate sector. He has worked as Property Director for the Lloyds Banking Group, HBOS plc, Network Rail and British Telecommunications plc. He started his career in private practice in the West End and the City of London.

Major Achievements

  • BT – John played a central role in the outsourcing of BT’s property portfolio for £2.38bn in 2001, as well as helping creating Workstyle 2000, BT’s innovative approach to flexible working.
  • Network Rail – John initiated ambitious multi-million pound plans to redevelop London’s rail termini in partnership with developers to provide world-class station facilities.
  • HBOS/Lloyds – he created HBOS’s first ever over arching property strategy. Following the takeover of HBOS by the Lloyds Banking Group, he was appointed Group Property Director to integrate the two property teams into one and appoint a high performing and credible senior management team.
  • CBI Property Group: John is a past Chairman of the CBI Property Group.

John is a non executive director of Wokingham Enterprises Ltd.
